A Beautiful Celebration of life!!

Sometimes when I feel overwhelmed, overworked, or overlooked...

it takes stories like this to put me back on  track..

I've been following this blog for

a while now..

And each time I've read their stories

I've cried...

Jc and I watched this video together and cried..

It made us want to embrace the short time we have

together and with our children..

The music really touched our hearts

and blessed us today..

Our trip to the Museum

I just took the kids to the Museum, It was amazing to see Baby J run around the place..

The Mayborn Museum is very nice...

it is very kid friendly.

On the bottom floor it has two big play rooms.

Baby J learned how to share today....

And here he is trying to share with me...

We packed ourselves some lunch bags,

and had lunch there...

We do not have a season pass yet

JC and I talked about it and we really need

to get one! The kids have such a great time....

Then baby j found this button! When it turns on

the room is filled with noise!

it comes from the air in the tube

which floats the ball...

He must have pressed it 15 times!

This is the "quiet" room!

Yeah!

This next room, The Tea Room,

Is the girls favorite room...

And baby j.. well he was forced into it.....

where's Jaylin??

He would not even step onto the room!

Boys!

They couldn't put any play food infront of him

because  it would go straight into his mouth!

Germs! Yuck!

We had a great time...

And the kids slept like rocks last nght!

Happy Anniversary!

We just celebrated our 8 yr anniversary! We feel so blessed by God! Our marriage almost didn't make it past the first 2yrs! But God intervened at with lots of suffering and prayer we have made it through! We have the best marraige now than we  have ever had....

We thought about getting a sitter for the kids and going out

by ourselves but....

I changed my mind! We decided to celebrate together.

We took the kids to a habatche grill Japanese Resturant.

They had the best beef broth soup!

And here they out preparing our food...

He did all these really cool tricks with his utensils!

The kids had their mouths open most of the time!

The kids were very happy!

we all had a great time!

Thank you Lord for another year ,with the love of my life!

A busy few weeks!

We've had a hectic few weeks. A funeral, a soldier's return, a birthday party,

 and a "family reunion"...

 We traveled halfway across Texas this last week...

The Funeral was "bittersweet".

An amazing, beautiful, and precious woman

died suddenly...

She was a Christian woman who read her bible

daily, and had a great faith in God..

My husband and I sobbed through her picture slide show,

and through her fathers speech....

But then her sister spoke and she brought

clarity into the situation.

She reminded us of the hope we have in Jesus,

And after she was done , we felt  calm and at peace...

What a beautiful woman and the perfect type of person

to sit at the "feet of Jesus"....

She will be missed but we know she is in a better place

then we can fathom.

Then at the same time

 we had a WONDERFUL thing to celebrate....

After 8 long months in Iraq..

My brother returned safe from Iraq..

He made it just in time to show support at the funeral.

We then spent the weekend catching up and visiting

with family...

And as always...

lots of jokes!

Two things you can count on when we

get together...

Are JOKES and FOOD!

When we got back Baby J celebrated his

First birthday!!

The busy weeks didn't end there...

This past weekend we went to visit

our family  back home....

And had a great time!!

The weather was beautiful! It was sunny and 70 degrees

 I really miss it...

When we got home the temp. was 40 degrees and we

are expecting 7 inches of snow!

The kids were spoiled rotten this weekend!

Everybody was so excited to see them

they showered them with gifts.

Okay so I'm sorry I had not posted in awhile.

 This blog was giving me a hard time! But I changed some settings and now its fixed! And I know many of you have been asking me...

"Whats the deal?" So here we are....

We got some snow this past week and I was able to take pictures of kiddos....

The kids had about 5 layers of clothes on each!

So I thought the number 10 was cool..
